Delegation Trip to Canada

We are organizing a two-part delegation trip to Canada for Berlin- and Brandenburg-based game studios and games-related XR companies from October 28 to November 1. This program is funded by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.

Program:

• Arrival date weekend of October 26
• Program period: 28 October – 01 November 2024

Part 1: October 28 – 29 Vancouver

• Visit to companies and studios in Vancouver
• Presentation of the traveling companies and their projects
• Getting to know Vancouver’s exciting games industry
• Networking events and dinners

Optional travel day Vancouver – Montreal: October 30th

Part 2 (optional): October 30 – November 01 Montreal

• Visit to the Montreal International Games Summit (MIGS)
• Networking with Kanda’s games industry
• Potential company and studio visits
• Evening program

The following costs are covered for 1 person per company

• Flights to and from Canada
• Accommodation in Vancouver
• MIGS conference ticket
• Participation in networking events

The following costs are not covered

• Transfer costs Vancouver – Montreal
• Accommodation in Montreal
• Possible transfer costs on site
• Meals on site and outside of official events
