Delegation Trip to GDC

We know that the word „transatlantic“ in our project title is a promise, and we will finally fulfill this promise in March 2024 when we go on a delegation trip to GDC in San Francisco. As always, this is only possible if people from the Berlin games industry join us! So come with us across the pond!

The trip is planned from March 16 (arrival) to March 23 (departure). We can take seven companies (one person per company) with us.

Our trip includes: 

• 1 x GDC EXPO ticket (Mi-Fr), see benefits here
• 1 x MeetToMatch Account to book meetings ahead of time 
• Access to exclusive Berlin Delegation Meeting Space in the MeetToMatch San Francisco House (1 Block from Moscone Center) (Opening Hours: Wednesday March 20th – Friday March 22nd, 09:00-17:30h local time. On Friday, closing time is 15:00h.)
  Meeting Space includes coffee, tea and water.

Furthermore, we plan for additional activities! They still need to be confirmed with national/international partners.

• Access to German Party (organized by German Delegation BMWK) 
• Optional Investor Pitch at MeetToMatch SF House (This will depend on the confirmed delegates and their projects which have to be in the right phase ready to pitch to investors.) 
• Coordinated visits at games companies offices TBD (Mon/Tue) 
• Optional attendance of Pocket Gamer Connects (Will be booked in January, after the selection of the delegation participants.) 
• Access to international evening networking events 

• For all the INDIES: Consider an application to Dutch Courage XL Showcase (March 17; application deadline is January 7) 

After delegate companies are known, we will keep you updated regularly with additional plans for GDC week.

Travel and accommodation costs are not included.
